Qodia has raised $1.4M in seed funding, a round that backs the French automation specialist’s push to scale its software and engineering offerings. The company, which has spent over 25 years building turnkey machines, retrofitting existing systems, and developing electronic boards, is now leaning into its own tool: the X8 Automation Framework.
That framework is an intuitive, evolving automation and HMI platform, and Qodia sells access to it in flexible ways-direct sublicensing of its PLC/HMI libraries, support and guidance, or fully turnkey delivery by its own teams. The fresh capital gives the firm room to grow that side of the business, though specifics on how the money will be deployed weren’t disclosed.
